Milk Can Boost Weight Loss, But When on a Diet!

But how does milk, which does have a lot of calories, help in weight loss? Researchers have found that drinking milk can actually cut 10 pounds of flab for every 6-ounce of milk drunk every day. The possible reason behind this is the apt control of appetite by the dairy products.

Once you have had a glass of milk, you no longer feel hungry. So the instantaneous urges of having a burger or fries or a pastry to curb those hunger pangs seem to go away in a jiffy! However, appetite control is only one of the facets of drinking milk and losing weight simultaneously.

Scientists have also said that milk can actually help boost energy levels – due to the high protein levels present. So there goes another point in favor of drinking milk – you can now actually shrug off the procrastination of working out and actually enjoy an hour long session on the treadmill etc.

Also drinking a lot of milk had actually helped improve Vitamin D and calcium levels in the dieting candidates, advantages that cannot be ignored. Drinking a couple of glasses can therefore not only help shed the fat but also gain the healthiness factor with panache!
